Rainbow Quilt Block
Share
A couple of weeks ago, a little quilt bee popped up amongst some friends on Facebook.
The goal: a quilt that celebrates the new legal recognition of all marriages.
The design challenge: make a block that is 12.5" unfinished and includes a rainbow of fabrics, almost entirely solids.
At first I thought I would need to buy some rainbow solids, as I tend to stash my favorite colors and not necessarily a diversity of colors. But then I found a charm pack and a mini charm pack with many colors and was apple to supplement from my scraps in order to get to a sort-of rainbow which seemed like it had enough fabric.
Using the same technique as my Autumn Columns quilt, I made my block. It went together very quickly and I love the end result!
