EDITED TO ADD: If you are making the Spotlights quilt, you may find the following image in the instructions to be confusing: spolights instruction This photo makes it look like the quilt was assembled in blocks.  It was not.  While the text is clear that the off-white background piece was a single cut of fabric into which the holes were cut, this photo, by showing the edges of the larger piece of white fabric, suggests that the background was composed of several small pieces.  Anyway, should any confusion arise, the text is correct, not the photo.
